Dr. Landborn's doctoral dissertation, “Kinesthetic Culture: A Comparative Study of the Movement Practices of Spanish Bullfighting and Flamenco Dance,” draws from her somatic, first-person experience with the two movement forms and employs theoretical perspectives from cultural anthropology, ethnochoreology, and Laban Movement Analysis.
