The flamenco performing group Peña Flamenca de Tucson emerged from last year's course with exciting plans to perform flamenco-style Christmas carols during the 2008 Holiday Season. Sign up now to learn a fun and beautiful selection of flamenco-style Villancicos so that you can and experience flamenco's special magic during the winter holidays! Come Sing With Us! We sing a repertory of traditional flamenco songs too! The Peña Flamenca class provides a rare opportunity to learn about the socio-cultural practices of flamenco music and dance through experiential group practice of the rhythmic handclapping, melodies, and lyrics of the beautiful and passionate flamenco song style.
